It all started in the small and oddly named village of Wonkyton, where Anonymouse was born and raised. As a child, he was quiet and thoughtful, with a strange hobby: he loved collecting old clocks from junkyards and alleyways. He would take them apart and put them back together in new and unusual ways. People in the village thought this was odd, but it helped him learn to see connections that others missed.

When he was ten years old, a grim event shook his world—his younger sister disappeared under mysterious circumstances. The local authorities dismissed her case as a runaway, unwilling to spend time on what they deemed a lost cause. The injustice and apathy he witnessed left a deep scar, instilling in him a burning desire to seek truth and justice where others wouldn't. Or, at least, that's what he tells himself.

Determined to make a difference, he joined the local police force in Wonkyton as soon as he was able. But he quickly realized that the police station was small and his coworkers weren't interested in solving real problems. His partner, Bob, was a senior officer who acted more like a roadblock than a mentor. Bob was the type of person who always said, "That's not how we do things around here".

Despite Anonymouse's efforts to bring fresh perspectives to cases, Bob's interference often led to missed opportunities and unresolved crimes. Frustrated by the slow pace and lack of curiosity within the force, Anonymouse realized that to truly make a difference, he needed the freedom that only private investigation could offer.

One evening, while browsing online, he stumbled upon an Anonymous video that explored unsolved cases and the art of unveiling them. The video's intriguing content and the allure of anonymity struck a deep chord with him. Inspired, he adopted the moniker "Anonymouse," symbolizing his desire to uncover truths while remaining in the shadows.

He bravely left the police force and started his own detective agency. As a Private Detective, Anonymouse enjoyed the freedom to take on cases that others thought couldn't be solved.

One of his early successes was solving the perplexing case of the "Silent Shadow," a mystery that had baffled authorities for years. Anonymouse's unique approach not only cracked the case but also highlighted the limitations of traditional investigative methods—the very methods Bob had stubbornly clung to. His work began to attract clients from far and wide, each bringing challenges more intricate than the last.

As whispers of unrest grew louder and society crumbled under the weight of its secrets, the first signs of the apocalypse emerged. Survival became a desperate race against time. It was then that Anonymouse stumbled upon humanity’s last, desperate solution: a network of underground capsules designed to preserve a select few—leaders, scientists, and other "worthy" individuals who would one day rebuild civilization after the devastation.

Anonymouse wasn’t one of the chosen survivors, but desperation has a way of pushing people beyond the bounds of morality. Driven by a deep desire to be part of the new world, to protect it and ensure others had a future, he made a choice that would alter the course of his life—and history. He found an unoccupied capsule, and knowing it was his only chance to escape the chaos, he sneaked inside. As the world above descended into ashes, he sealed himself into a future he wasn’t meant to have.

Two hundred and fifty-four years later the legend of Anonymouse begins.
